Restoring Balance And Stability
Vestibular physiotherapy supports people with dizziness, positional vertigo, gaze instability, motion sensitivity or unsteadiness through techniques and exercises selected according to assessment findings and individual needs.
Vestibular Physiotherapy
At HOPE Physiotherapy Clinic, vestibular assessment examines how the inner ear, vision, sensation and movement systems contribute to balance and gaze stability. Care may support people with BPPV, vestibular hypofunction, motion sensitivity, post-concussion dizziness or selected neurological balance difficulties. Programmes are tailored to symptoms, clinical findings, triggers and functional goals, with supervised exercises and appropriate home guidance for everyday movement.
Our Approach To Vestibular Physiotherapy
Based on assessment findings, treatment may include canalith repositioning manoeuvres for confirmed BPPV, gaze-stabilisation exercises, habituation exercises and targeted balance or gait training.
For post-concussion dizziness, neurological conditions or complex balance difficulties, HOPE’s multidisciplinary team integrates vestibular physiotherapy with other relevant rehabilitation support. Individualised home exercises and safety guidance may also support progress between visits.
