Special Learning Difficulties Program
At HOPE Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Centre, our special learning difficulties program begins with an assessment of each child's reading, writing, comprehension, numeracy, attention and behaviour, sensory processing and executive functioning skills. Our professional special educator offers remedial activities to help with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, comprehension, and attention through a structured learning support suited to the learner's profile, working closely with families and schools.
Our Approach To Special Learning Difficulties Program
Our Multidisciplinary approach includes special educators, behaviour therapists who combine cognitive skill building with explicit, structured and multisensory teaching for children with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, non-verbal learning difficulties or processing delays along with behaviour modification.
Where broader communication, sensory or behavioural needs are identified, HOPE’s multidisciplinary team may coordinate Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Behavior Therapy alongside educational intervention.
