Special Education
At HOPE Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Centre, special education begins with an assessment to understand each child’s current abilities, learning needs, likes and dislikes. Special educators then establish individualised goals and plan child-centred activities to build attention, reading, writing, comprehension, maths, academic, fine motor, gross motor, self-help and everyday life skills, with teaching strategies adapted to the child’s individual pace, overall development and progress.
Our Approach To Special Education
Our Special Educators use accommodations and modifications selected according to each child’s assessed abilities, interests, learning needs and developmental goals.
Special Education is part of the multidisciplinary team and depending on the child’s need therapy may also involve other disciplines.
